The A-G / College Entrance Requirements are a sequence of high school courses that students must complete (with a grade of C or better) to be minimally eligible for admission to the University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU). They represent the basic level of academic preparation that high school students should achieve to undertake university work.

There are nine UC campuses which focus on academic and scientific research with an emphasis on theoretical learning with the assumption that graduates will pursue a higher degree before entering their career.
Private colleges and universities have a wide range of focus, including research institutions, small liberal arts colleges, faith-based universities, and specialized colleges. Please visit individual websites for specific admission information.
The CCR Academy time is dedicated to College and Career Readiness for all Tillers. For 35 minutes, every Wednesday, students will have the opportunity to explore their post Tustin High School plans. During this time, students will learn college and career based curriculum.
For log-in information, please contact Ms. Sam, at extension 87160, in the Counseling Department.
UC and CSU applications do not request letters of recommendation.
Many private schools will request letters from teachers and/or counselors/administrators. Please submit a completed Brag Sheet to administrators and counselors before requesting a letter and allow up to two school weeks to complete.
Plan ahead, and ask early before application deadlines!
Fill out the THS Letter of Recommendation Information Packet to submit when requesting letters of recommendation for college applications and scholarships. You may submit by sharing your completed document using Google Docs or by printing and filling out the PDF version.
